Uganda’s film industry is growing fast, with actors, producers and directors following their dreams and creating a precedent even when the industry is seriously beset by lack of resources.

The Uganda Communications Commission has rewarded the best in Uganda’s film industry at the  just concludued 2015 Uganda Film Festival.

The film festival was a four-day extravaganza of Ugandan movies, which were screened at the National Theatre in Kampala and in all major movie theaters. I

n this fourth edition of the festival, film-makers got tips on how to mobilize funding and market their films locally and  beyond the borders.
