KwaMashu African Film Festival offers industry workshops

The KwaMashu African Film Festival (KAFF), taking place now (4-13 December 2015), is able to offer industry workshops, such as Budgeting for Film Makers, Copyright and Marketing and Distribution, through its partnership with the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission.

The Commission’s mission is to promote the province’s film industry through increasing the participation of the previously disadvantaged communities especially women and youth. Audience development is key in the advancing of the industry, which is why the opportunity to take film to the people is of great importance. Its team will use the opportunity to talk about its funding policy.

The festival is screening local and international films, having opened with ‘Tell Me Sweet Something‘, starring local star, Nomzamo Mbatha, as the lead actress.

To take part in the workshops, call Brenda Mhlongo on +27 (0) 31 504 6970 or email
